About Maria Klimenko
A St. Louis native, Maria received her bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri, followed by a master’s degree from Purdue University. She returns home after providing dermatology services in New York for nearly a decade.
Maria has a special interest in preventative skin care and is thrilled to have the opportunity to care for the St. Louis community.
Maria is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is currently working towards dermatology certification, an accolade few in the country hold.

First time to a dermatologist in a long time so I was nervous. Maria explained what my problem was and how to take care of it, quickly put me at ease and also took care of my issue right then and there. Sandy at the desk is also awesome ~ 5 stars all the way around.

The entire staff at Vitalskin was exceptional! Very nice and informative on every step of the way in my appointment. Dr. Maria was nice and pleasant, she was very informative during my visit and I cannot wait to see her again! : )

I didn’t really find out what was wrong at all or find out if I’m experiencing hair loss. I was just told that I may have something called “seborrheic dermatitis” but I’ve been experiencing a lot of hair shedding and from what I’ve researched on my own it doesn’t seem like I have “seborrheic dermatitis”. It honestly seemed like they were busy and just trying to get me in and out. I still feel as if I have no answers and the treatment they did provide is going to have no effect as so far it is doing nothing for me but making things worse.
