Hi, I'm Andrea! I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, especially when those changes involve culture, identity, or building a sense of home in a place that still feels unfamiliar. Many of the people I work with feel caught between worlds. You might feel like parts of you had to change to adapt. Maybe you’re adjusting to a culture that doesn’t fully reflect how you were raised, navigating family expectations that feel heavy, or juggling new roles while quietly feeling disconnected or unsure of who you’re becoming. Everyone’s experience is different, so I shape our work around what supports you.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach is collaborative and relational. Drawing from family systems and experiential work, we work together to explore how relationships, family history, culture, and lived experiences shape the way you move through the world today. We slow things down and make space for what’s been weighing on you. I offer therapy in English and Spanish.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I offer virtual sessions with a flexible, client-centered approach. Our first session is structured yet conversational, exploring what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to get out of the process. My style is collaborative and reflective, creating space for you to process your experiences and gain insight at your own pace. Together, we explore patterns, build awareness, and move toward meaningful change. Progress looks different for everyone and can evolve over time, whether it’s feeling heard, gaining clarity, or improving relationships.
