I value a collaborative approach wherein patients and I can work together to address their concerns. As each patient is unique, I provide evidence based recommendations tailored to each individual. My focus As a PMHNP, I work with individuals experiencing mental health concerns. I'm comfortable managing a variety of cases, including anxiety, panic, OCD, depression, bipolar, trauma, and ADHD. I provide a comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plan, often including recommendations for medication, nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle modifications. My communication style When working with patients, I aim to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where they feel safe to openly share their thoughts and feelings. I utilize respect, active listening, empathy, validation, and positive reinforcement. My hope is for patients to feel comfortable and I strive to foster a sense of trust, so together we can explore their concerns and work towards positive change. My first session with you During your first appointment, a comprehensive evaluation will be performed, wherein we will discuss their background, current concerns, and goals of treatment. I hope to build a rapport from the start and discuss the treatment process. It is unlikely a controlled substance will be prescribed on the first visit. If at any time during treatment I feel that I am not capable of providing the best care, I will assist you in finding more appropriate services.
