She then completed an extensive surgical residency at Baptist Health in South Florida, where she gained advanced training in trauma surgery, elective reconstructive procedures, and complex diabetic limb salvage. Driven by a commitment to service, Dr. Walshe also participated in the Yucatan Crippled Children's Project in Merida, Mexico, treating rare pediatric lower-extremity deformities—an invaluable experience that shaped her compassionate approach to pediatric podiatry.
