About Mariam Borges
Mariam Borges, PA-C, was born in Cuba and came to the United States at the young age of 1. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Florida International University and continued her studies there, receiving her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Mariam is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice and prescribe in the State of Florida.
Prior to PA school, Mariam discovered her passion for dermatology while working as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology office. After completing PA school, she began her career in Pediatric and Adult Dermatology. Mariam’s expertise allows her to diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions in patients of all ages. She takes a special interest in the treatment of acne and atopic dermatitis.
Mariam is consistently focused on elevating the patient experience by studying the latest procedures and advancements in dermatology.
