Hi, I'm Marianna, a Nurse Practitioner with professional and extensive clinical care experience specializing in psychiatric medicine for children, adolescents, and young adults. I hold a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from West Coast University, along with bachelor's degrees from National University, Los Angeles, and California State University, San Marcos. I believe there is never a "one size fits all" to healing. Rather, achieving true optimal healing and well-being means considering every aspect of you as a unique and whole person.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In my practice, your mental, physical, and emotional needs are addressed. Whatever you are going through, you do not have to do it alone. I am dedicated to advocating for the mental health needs of my patients and empowering individuals to actively participate in their treatment and recovery journeys. I am driven to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
If you are interested in ADHD Diagnostic Testing, Please book a standard initial evaluation and note that you are interested in ADHD Diagnostic Testing.
Standard appointments:
1. The first step is to schedule a session. Your first visit would be our Initial Psychiatric Comprehensive Evaluation-
During your first visit, we will discuss your needs and explore your medical history, current symptoms, social and family background, and any relevant psychosocial factors. This evaluation will help develop an appropriate treatment plan for your mental health concerns.
2. The second step is the follow-up visit-
Depending on your needs, follow-up visits can range anywhere from 1 week to every 2 months. During this time, we will discuss any changes in your symptoms, any side effects you may be experiencing, and address any questions, concerns, or challenges you may be facing. In addition, we will be monitoring the effectiveness of medications and adjusting if necessary.
3. Ongoing Communication-
Support is provided in between appointments for any questions or concerns.
