What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in comprehensive ADHD care for teens and adults offering evidence-based assessments, personalized treatment plans, and support with both medication and non-medication strategies. My approach to ADHD treatment integrates life-organization tools, executive functioning support, and collaboration with patients and families. Prescription Policy Disclosure Please note that stimulant medications (including those prescribed for ADHD) require an in-person evaluation. These prescriptions cannot be initiated or continued via telehealth alone. Patients seeking stimulant medication management will need to schedule an in-office appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the initial session, I conduct a thorough evaluation to understand your concerns, medical and psychiatric history, and current symptoms. This helps guide a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs. I use evidence-based approaches, including medication management and supportive therapy when appropriate. Follow-up visits focus on ongoing care, progress, and collaboration.

She was judgmental, harsh, and didn’t listen to me. She didn’t listen to me and didn’t seem to believe me.
She spent a lot of time listening and really digging into my symptoms. I will be happy to see her again.
Marie listened to my concerns, went over different available options, and answered any questions I had.

The visit was very informative and helpful for me. The provider was very understanding and walked me through the entire process. I felt right at home and can’t wait to continue care with this provider.
I have been working with Ms. Parent for close to two years now. I like her because she is incredibly knowledgeable and takes time to listen and address all her patients needs and concerns. With her you know you are getting quality care. Highly recommended!
Dr. Parent greeted me with an empathetic ear and I immediately felt comfortable upon starting my session. She was able to offer some initial insight for a course of action based on my concerns and set up a follow-up appointment with a provider that fit my treatment goals. I would definitely go back!
Verified patient
Excellent listener! She took the time to go over my background, medical and mental health status and current medications. I would highly recommend her!
Verified patient
I would absolutely go back. My visit was virtual, and everything about it was great, except that the internet connection was very spotty. Our conversation kept getting interrupted by periods of the doctor being frozen on the screen. The conversation we were able to have, though, was very helpful.
Verified patient
I was extremely nervous about my appointment!! Everything went very well and I am excited about my treatment plan and seeing how it impacts me. I look forward to working with Dr. Parent!

I was never sent instructions on how to get to my zoom apt. I had to call to figure out the website and download an app to my computer. At times I felt like she didn't listen, and I was surprised by a medical student's presence in my appointment when I joined the zoom. She treated my panic attacks, but I left with no long-term plan to manage my anxiety, which was the reason I was there in the first place. The resources she promised to send me never came. With that said, she was very friendly, and I scheduled a follow-up to see if it gets better.
She was always very kind, but my appointments felt rushed and I didn’t feel very well understood. I was put on a lot of medications that didn’t feel necessary.
Very friendly and listens what you have to say
Verified patient
She was helpful and prompt.
Dr is very hard to understand

Even with technical difficulties, Marie Andree Parent was amazing! We had tried to work with other providers for my teenage daughter's several anxiety to no avail. Ms. Parent was kind, asked the right questions, and was compassionate to our needs. I watched my daughter leave a session with her looking like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders because she finally felt an adult understood her struggles and actually wanted to help. I can't thank Ms. Parent enough and would highly recommend to anyone. We are looking forward to working with her more in the future.

Marie is super easy to talk to
She’s great and easy to talk to!
She was rude and practically yelled at me, she talked over me and refused to listen. I am not going to continue seeing her, as she didn’t seem to care about me as a person or anything I had to say. I felt I was treated in a very unprofessional way.
Very professional and thorough.
