Prior to joining Entière Dermatology, Dr. Marie Leger was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell College of Medicine for two years and at New York University for four years. She completed her dermatology residency at New York University where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Leger attended medical school at the University of Illinois where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honors society. She also earned a PhD at the University of Illinois in the Institute of Communications Research, and received her undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Leger is a clinical assistant professor at New York University Langone and teaches future dermatologists at Bellevue Hospital.
Dr. Leger treats a broad range of medical and cosmetic skin conditions, and has an extensive research and publication record on such topics as international dermatology, technology and health, tattoo health, hair loss, and a variety of other dermatologic conditions. She has been involved in many clinical trials for new drug development, and is a regular reviewer for scientific publications such as JAMA Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology’s journal, the JAAD. She speaks frequently at national and international conferences, and is a sought after expert on skin health, cited regularly in such national and international publications as the New York Times, Vogue, and the BBC.
Dr. Leger consults with organizations such as the FDA and New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene about tattoo health and medication access. She is also a board member of the European Tattoo and Pigment Society, and lectures tattoo artists about skin health, skin cancer detection, and tattoo safety. She is a former host of Doctor Radio on Sirius XM. Dr. Leger is also a founding member of a teaching and research collaboration between the University of Ghana and New York University.

Cute office, nice staff, but I'd rather great care than a cute office. I went for a full body scan Doctor was nice but
- short appointment: appointment was like 5 minutes
- didn't feel thorough: she looked over my skin, didn't note any moles or fill out any charts like I have had derms do in the past (I have a history of cancer and pre-cancerous spots in my family)
- most of the conversation was around products and it felt pushy in this regard
- the pharmacy they use is some delivery pharmacy that took WAY more time and coordination than simply just sending the prescription to my local Duane Reade
Will not return to this practice even though it's right next to my office unfortunately.

Fantastic doctor! I had a great experience with my annual skin check. All the derms I’ve seen in the city talk really fast and seem rushed which was kind of the case here. But my exam was still thorough and the doctor’s bedside manner is awesome. She asked many questions and ran through every bump and mole on my body, educating as she went. The office was small but very trendy, clean, and cute. I was taken a few minutes early to the room for my appointment, but probably waited 10-15 minutes after that to be seen.

The whole experience was perfect. The office is SO clean and the staff are nothing but professional. They go above and beyond the ensure that everyone is taken care of without any issues.
Dr. Leger is very smart, kind and flexible. She actually sits down and talks through everything with you and ensures you have everything you need regarding the knowledge of your body and skin. It was one of the best doctor visits I've had in a long time.

Dr. Leger is wonderful!! Couldn’t recommend more. She is very friendly and warm and makes you feel extremely comfortable. She provides thorough explanations and goes above and beyond to answer any questions you have. Office is also beautiful and staff were very nice as well.

The waiting room situation was a little chaotic, although the staff at the desk were friendly. I wish Dr. Leger could be my doctor for EVERYTHING. She was absolutely wonderful - extremely warm and positive, and recommended a procedure that I didn't even know existed. :) 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Leger has an excellent bedside manner. She was very thorough in her exam and tried a different kind of treatment with my skin condition. The staff at Trinity was also wonderful. They are very organized and I was seen very quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Leger and the NYU Trinity Center.
