Mario Gjoni, PA-C, was educated at the University of Florence Medical School, Italy, and completed a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a clinical interest in ENT and surgery. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in clinical laboratory science.
Mario specializes in managing nasal and sinus problems often related to snoring, breathing, and sleep apnea. He assists in performing office-based procedures including nasal and sinus surgeries, minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty, septoplasty, inferior turbinate reduction, nasal valve repair, and rhinoplasty. He is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered evaluation and treatment for all sinus, snoring, and breathing problems.
The practice is subspecialized in managing issues related to the sinuses and snoring; therefore, it does not have the specialized equipment to treat some ENT problems related to the ears, such as tinnitus, vertigo, dizziness, or provide hearing tests. Furthermore, we do not treat salivary glands or tumors. The practice does not treat pediatrics.
Mario enjoys sports in general and soccer in particular. He loves playing and watching soccer, especially rooting for his favorite team, AC Milan. He also enjoys spending time with his family doing activities such as swimming, playing sports, walking, and taking trips.
Mario is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian and is licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin.

I had been having some ear pain/buzzing that my primary care doctor told me was related to a build up of ear wax. He was unable to remove the wax and recommended drops and flushing which didn’t work. I was able to quickly get an appointment with Mario. He looked at my ear and was able to quickly and painlessly remove the wax. He thoroughly explained what he was doing. The office staff were nice and efficient. They were able to use the information that I submitted on zoc doc.
