Marili Lemus is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Towson University in 2018 and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Radford University Carilion in 2023. Before becoming a PA, Marili worked as a medical assistant in pediatrics and psychiatry and also conducted clinical research in ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. As a Maryland native, she is eager to give back to her community through patient-centered care. In her free time, Marili enjoys trying new foods, baking, reading, and hiking.

She didn’t seem interested in my worries or concerns at all. The whole time talking to her felt rushed. She also didn’t do a couple tests that I specifically asked for. I would never visit this “doctor” ever again. I actually felt worse, uneasy, & uncertain leaving than before I walked in there. The rest of the staff and the woman who did my bloodwork were very nice & professional though.

Very easy and quick. I put details that I wanted bloodwork done that day and they had the notes on file when I called to confirm the appointment and reminded me to fast and show up early. There’s no grace period so show up 15 minutes early. Other than that everything was great from parking to leaving.

Very nice office and great staff. Very little wait time and all my issues were heard. I would recommend anyone who books 30 mins prior to the phlebotomist taking lunch that the staff lets them know in case they cannot return at a later date or wait.

Why look any where else. Marili is very knowledgeable in her qualification and communicate her assessment very clear. I clearly understood her medical approach of my blood tests and the recommendations I needed. We mapped a clear roadmap forward that met my future appointments. Great interaction!

I am going back and the reception was very good. I’m impressed with the professionalism and the thorough execution of each person before me was done. The office was very efficiently operated. The PA-C I was appointed explained the best outlined for my situation and I absolutely agreed with her approach. She captured all the blanks in my profile and documented the information electronically for my database review later. I am convinced I made the right choice in joining the Primary care center. No crowded waiting rooms.

Showed up early for appointment, they pushed it out 20 mins saying I wasn’t early enough to fill out forms on iPad that took 60 seconds. Came in for a physical did not get one, just had blood pressure and lungs checked, waited another 30 mins to get blood work, I was never called in so I left, terrible wait times and didn’t even get what I came for. Would not recommend or go back. Complete waste of time.

The office staff are NOT the friendliest people. One of the receptionist was being rude with the person on the phone rolling her eyes and neck and just overall frustrated. The other young lady never greeted me when I came in but saw me standing so decided to ask if I had an appointment. Instead of me responding, I greeted her and said hello and asked how her day was. She replied, "hi, do you have an appointment?". Her tone was very rude. Once I finished with the doctor, I asked the receptionist about a question she asked prior to me being seen and her response was, "yeah". Again, very unprofessional as if I was bothering her. Once she completed with what I asked, she immediately starting speaking in Spanish to her colleague. Again, just purely unprofessional. There really needs to be not only a class on customer service but secret shoppers who come in and pretend they are patients to see how we are being treated. My doctor was very kind and thorough.

After 12 years or so with a physician group in Silver Spring, I was frustrated by the inconsistent provision of an ASL-English interpreter (Video remote interpreting which I am fine with).. one doctor even paid out of his pocket to make sure I received the care that any patient would expect. I just decided to try a different provider and came across this place. Was provided VRI interpreting (on iPad) which makes a huge difference. I also liked how the f/u appointment text had the option of being added to Google Cal. PA Marili Lemus was great too. She maintained eye contact which is important in deaf culture and really did listen along with providing recommendations in making sure I stay healthy. Will stay with this place for a good while.

Overall I would see Dr. Mari again because she was great! However the nurse at the front desk was not the friendliest but again Dr. Mari was so great that I can look pass that!

As my first visit, & new to Maryland I was a bit nervous but everything went smoothly and quick! The front desk checked me in & made sure all my information was correct. I was also able to get my bloodwork done before leaving which was so convenient because I had to head to work after my appointment & this just helped me get it done with out having to take off of work just to get bloodwork done. Everyone was so kind & welcoming. Marili Lemus, PA -C was very helpful, & addressed all my concerns! I will definitely be coming here moving forward.

My appointment was at 9 & I was walking out the door with a new prescription sent to my pharmacy by 9:45! Marili PA was very attentive to my concerns and offered multiple routes for me to determine my plan of care. Great bedside manner. The receptionist & M.A. were very polite too. My only complaint is that the walls are thin so you can somewhat hear patients/staff while sitting in the waiting room. I think that could easily be solved with noise cancelling machines. Overall 4.5/5!
