I saw Dr. Kurian for something other than her normal specialization listed in ZocDoc and she was helpful. What I didn't love is that I had to wait quite a bit for my appointment and while in the waiting room I could hear the entire conversation of her Telehealth appointment with another patient, which I'm sure the patient didn't know about. The office was pretty small and I'm sure even with the door closed in my appointment the waiting room might be able to hear. Overall, I appreciated how she was a "straight shooter" and was very direct, but the entire appointment felt very rushed and she didn't seem to want to get to know me at all. In and out. That's okay given this was a one off issue, but thought others might want to know.
I was informed by phone to be at least 15 minutes before my appointment to complete intake form. I arrived 25 minutes before the appointment to find a sign on the door that the provider would be there shortly. I waited 45 minutes. No communication was provided. After calling several numbers, someone informed me that the provider was on her way in 3 mins. Finally provider showed up and informed me that her assistant had an emergency and had to leave. An appointment that was scheduled for 11:15 turned out to be 11:45. Provider offered apology and will continue with further appointments. Recommendations: Assistant must contact scheduled patients to inform of any delay or emergency. Did a 30 minute commute to get to the office.
knowledgeable and very professional and quick.

I had a follow up appointment with Dr Marina Kurian after a medical exam. After 45 minutes of wait, she came in and only spent 5 minutes with me telling me what she think the conclusion is of the medical report. But what she said didn't sound reliable because she did not even have a copy of my report with her, we did not go over the report with me explaining the findings and options to resolve the medical condition I have. I had to ask her for answers. She did a quick physical exam and asked me (again) whether I previously had surgery, which was something I told her the first time we met a month ago. She simply was not prepared to see me. Wasted my time and money coming in. Very disappointed given the star rating she has on Zocdoc.
