Dr. Marissa Catalan is an accomplished and diligent pediatrician serving the community of Clinton Township, MI. Dr. Catalan received her medical degree from the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center College of Medicine. She completed an internship at the same institute. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Polymedic General Hospital. Dr. Catalan then migrated to the United States to complete her residency in pediatrics at Henry Ford Hospital.
Dr. Catalan is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Patients visit her for a variety of reasons including pediatric consultations, annual pediatric checkups, and pre-natal fetal consultations.

There is a grand e period of 15 minute i was there 5 minutes late. They would not accept him it was Friday I couldn't get in for a sick call till tues because of the holiday. Hes got him virus and yeah very bad diarrhea he could have been worse but yeah they over scheduled and would not let me in. I called and even changed it knowing the traffic would be bad and it's kind of far. Then the receptionist was rude. All but one need to learn some manners and respect people. No toys in this office at all. I sat for 45 minutes waiting to see the doctor and this is a pediatrician office and no toys or anything for kids to do in the waiting room. Ridiculous.

Overall a great doctor caring and understanding, just very overwhelmed by the patients she have they’re really busy hard to ask various questions, it’s things I personally wanted further explained and she operated with just the black and white and moved fast waited 40 minutes to be seen and was only with her personally maximum 12 minutes that’s the exam and the verbal communication and prescriptions all in 12 minutes for 2 children on different milestones in life. I left uncertain and unsure of her explanation and I didn’t feel heard concerning the approach with certain circumstances. I’ve never seen her work in such a short manner over 12 years and I’m not sure if it’s best for my children moving forward with the overwhelming amount of patients. Maybe I can call her and follow up but today was truly touch and go for me

Appointment overall was okay. It was late in the afternoon. The doctor was nice but it seem to be in a hurry. I kind of understand the appointment was 5 pm and my son seemed to be her last appointment for the day.

I was greeted upon arrival and given paperwork to complete. Each document was explained before completion. The staff made my grandson very comfortable. Dr. Catalan explained each part of her examination and she listened to my concerns and gave me the referral I needed. I have brought my son to Dr. Catalan since he was a newborn and always liked her. My son is special needs and lately she hasn’t been very accommodating to that and didn’t seem to listen to my concerns. The appointment felt rushed because we were the last appointment of the day and she got upset when I questioned a diagnosis she made without even touching or looking at my son. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone anymore and I will be looking for a new pediatrician for my son.
