Getting to know Marita Dailo
My name is Marita, and I will be one of your guides on your journey to wellness. I bring more than a decade of clinical expertise, with experience caring for patients at inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis stabilization units, outpatient clinics, and community mental health centers. I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of California San Francisco.
I’m an expert with psychotropic medications, but I believe in partnering with you to create a holistic, person-centered treatment plan. My plans incorporate complementary and alternative therapies in concert with conventional psychiatry, exercise, and a diet designed for a healthy body and mind. I have a special interest in serving our youth, marginalized and underserved populations, and our Veterans.
Outside of work, I enjoy all things outdoors—hiking, surfing, running, yoga—the sunny San Diego climate, and anything related to the ocean. I believe in smiling and laughing often while also enjoying peace in quietude.
I value creating and maintaining social support systems, as well as any permutation of psychologically supportive structures and systems.

I had a video meeting with Dr Dailo. She showed up pretty promptly, I'd say within 5 mins of the appointment time. She was very warm and patient.
