“I’m new to California and have been looking for an OBGYN. I came across Marjan Hafezi, NP profile here on Zocdoc and set my appointment. My appointment was for 10am and after completing my new patient paperwork, I was seen right away.
When going to someone to get your most intimate area checked, you should have someone who makes you feel comfortable and Hafezi is just that. She was kind, gentle and very knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and provided me with information about topics I didn’t even think to mention. I’m usually nervous when going to a new healthcare provider but I would definitely recommend her to any woman.”

About Marjan Hafezi
I was born and raised in Iran. I entered the field of women's health as a new graduate from the University of San Francisco, where I earned my Master's in Family Nursing-this is now my passion.
My special interests include gynecology; STI counseling; menopause and hormone replacement therapy; weight management; and contraceptive counseling, particularly involving long-acting, reversible contraceptives such as IUDs and Nexplanon. I enjoy helping teens explore their choices to find the best-suited contraceptive as they begin their sexual life.
I am fluent in Spanish and Farsi. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time outdoors with my husband and two children, as well as traveling to new and exotic places.

Dr. Hafezi is very friendly and sweet~ She provides a lot of helpful information for birth control. She also made my first Pap smear experience very gentle and fast. The staffs were also very nice and they would make sure the insurance works for the exam.

I was very nervous because it was my first time getting a Pap smear, but she walked me through the process and told me everything she was doing during the process. It was so quick and painless! I didn’t feel like the nurse practitioner listened. I shared I suffered from yeast infections and she recommended I take a probiotic but didn’t ask if she could call in a prescription. She also did a Pap smear we’re she was able to see I was suffering from a yeast infection and said nothing about it after suggesting a probiotic. Would have rather her be a little more interested in helping than getting done with the appointment. There wasn’t any conversation to make me feel comfortable, it was very manuel not as friendly as I had hoped. I get our practitioners are under a lot of stress but I think the bedside manner goes a long way.

Great experience! I'm a stickler for a good women's wellness office. I booked an appointment for my annual pap smear and well woman check. I arrived early, front desk was helpful, friendly nurse assisted with getting me ready and my flu shot, and loved seeing my new Nurse Practioner.
