2) Finding a provider who allows me to remain active in my treatment by providing direct feedback on my experience with the prescription medications.
For one reason or another, I havent been able to remain established with a psychiatrist since I started taking meds (consistently ??) in 2014.
Dr. Maine’s patient approach exceeded my expectations for my first appointment with a new psychiatrist. Dr. Maine provided education and suggestions while allowing me to direct my care - which is how healthcare should be executed.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Did not at all listen to my actual diagnosis and tried to throw an extremely heavy one at me instead that does not at all fit me. Don’t think they’re educated on my actual diagnosis either. If you have any form of CPTSD or PTSD, don’t book with them.

Marjorie Maine, PMHNP did a fantastic job of listening to my concerns and discussing all available options with me. She pointed out signs and symptoms of my mental health that I had not even been aware of. She explained very clearly the treatment options available to me and helped me make an informed decision about my mental health care. Very easy to talk to and very informative. Highly recommend.
