I liked Dr. Melden when I saw him, but communicating with the office staff has been frustrating. I had a follow up appointment scheduled, but I got a voicemail from someone in the office cancelling it because Dr. Melden would not be in the office that day. This is fine, however since then I have called back during regular business hours and left messages twice trying to reschedule this appointment. I finally just scheduled a follow up through ZocDoc since I can't get anyone in the office to a) answer the phone during business hours or b) return my phone calls to help me schedule a follow up. Again, I really liked Dr Melden himself, but likely would not recommend this office to someone else because it has been impossible to do something as simple as scheduling an appointment.

Dr. Melden seemed very rushed and not very collaborative in his approach to patient care (which is something I value). He mostly looked at his laptop, wrote notes, and as part of that didn't really connect well as questions were often broken or incomplete.
My initial appointment was only 20minutes despite being a 45min window. I understand he was running late, but I left like he did not attentively listen to my needs as a patient (recommended a medication when minutes earlier I had said I had tried it for several months years ago and gained a lot of weight on it, and never wanted to take it again).
I suspect Dr. Melden may actually be very good at what he does, but I unfortunately was not given the opportunity to see that and will not be going back. (And no, I did not ask for any Rx medications from him as I still have a few months supply from my previous doctor but need to switch due to insurance change).

It would have been a great experience... EXEPT ZocDoc didn't schedule the appointment. Fortunately for me, there was a doctor available. Shame on you ZocDoc, this is the second time. awful experience.

Dr. Melden was great. He made me feel like I wasn't some kind of maniac and put me at ease in the first 3 minutes I was there. He went over my options and I feel like it was the best interaction I had in a long time.

He was very competent and thorough. My only complaint is that I was not able to get the cost of the visit from my Zoc Doc question request; Or in the waiting room; It wasn't until I saw the doctor that I found out the cost which was about what I expected. Dr Melden handled it with great concern and talked to the staff to make sure it would not happen again. He even gave me a bit of a discount because of it. His heart is in the right place and his training seemed to be top notch, in fact the best of any pshyciatrist I have seen. So he will take good care of you and I recommend him highly.

Mark is extremely knowladgable and does things start. He is not a corner cutting, lazy or carless Dr. He impressed me and I'd recommend him to my own family.

I thought he was very good. The bugs need to be worked out with this system because after the appointment was made the office had no record of it and I had to wait over an hour to be seen.

First impression was that he seems to have good intuition combined with the knowledge to back it up. He was efficient, yet patient and willing to take time to answer questions / address concerns. Great sense of humor.
