About Dr. Mark Tan

Dr. Mark Tan is a family medicine physician originally from Milwaukee, WI. Growing up in the Midwest, he did his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago and came to Las Vegas to complete his residency training at the Valley Health System. Outside of medicine, he loves to work out and stay active outside with his wife and dogs. Fitness is a great outlet to providing balance to life’s daily stressors and it translates well to the primary care setting where I encourage positive lifestyle changes when it comes to being active, being mindful of nutrition, and for those with weight management goals. In addition, Mark and his wife love exploring the city’s underrated food scene because balance is everything!

The waiting area was stifling hot, and the front desk employees was by far the coldest complete lack of emotion or compassion. I shouldn't be treated any different just because my insurance is state Medicaid or the fact that I am currently unhoused partly because of the issues I was attempting to seek help for.
