About Dr. Mark Yaiser
Dr. Mark Yaiser is a thorough and warm chiropractor caring for the New York, NY community. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Yaiser attended Life University where he received his doctoral degree. He has received advanced training in pediatric procedures, lipolaser, and CPR.
Dr. Yaiser is a part of 43rd Street Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. One of the best physical therapy offices in the city. Very bold to say but very true. Clean open space and the doctors and assistants polite friendly and professional. The area that sucked tremendously is the back end. On my first visit I asked for a explanation of my bill with the insurance. I was shamed twice with comments like hey you know my plan makes me pay for my visits or I wish I had your copayment. I should never have to be shamed because of my wealth status or the ability for my union to fight for my health benefits. Other than that the front end the doctors are the best that has taken care of my well being. But again where offices get wrecked in reviews is on the sign in area and leaving the area without smart ass remarks.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I came to them through ZocDoc, where they have a five star rating. It was extremely disappointing. First of all, I was seen by a different doctor than the one I booked with Booked with M. Yaiser, was seen by A. Szymanski) I still explained my problem and specified that I have had consistent chiropractic work done at another office, but they no longer take my insurance so I was looking for a new specialist. They took some x-rays and performed a routine examination, then informed me that they could complete treatment that day. It was not the chiropractic work I was accustomed to, but I tried it. As I was leaving, the secretary told me that I needed to return the next day. She informed me that this appointment would be with the doctor that I had originally booked. I was somewhat confused at this point since I had just received treatment, however my back was beginning to hurt after the stimulation so I thought it would be a good idea to meet with him anyway.
The next day, in addition to my usual back pain, I had pain in places that I wasn't having problems before. I continued on as usual and received a phone call from the office during the day asking if I could come in early. I left work early and went to see the doctor, my back being in progressively more pain. Instead of the doctor that I had originally booked, and the one that I was told I would see today, I saw the same person that treated me the day before. He showed me my x-ray and began explaining what was wrong and what he thought I should have done. Finally he asked me how I felt after yesterday's treatment and I told him I was feeling much worse. He referred me to an MD at the practice to prescribe some painkillers for me. At this point I was pretty frustrated that he brought me in early only to refer me to someone else to see tomorrow, so I asked him why he brought me in today. He responded that he needed time to examine the x-ray and make a diagnosis. I pointed out that he didn't need to examine it before providing treatment yesterday. Once this occurred, he began trying to appease me offering me a shot, other therapies, ext. I left the office and I will not be coming back.
