About Dr. Marlissa Fondechene
Dr. Marlissa Fondechene has a passion for helping others perform their best. Like many of her patients, she once had painful injuries that kept her from exercising and performing the way she needed. Upon receiving proper care, she developed a passion to help others the way she was. After receiving her degree in Biology from St. John’s University, she attended New York Chiropractic College where she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Marlissa is a certified in Rock Tape, Neuromuscular Re-education, Upper Extremity Active Release Technique, Functional Range Conditioning and continues to attend seminars annually to provide her patients with the best care possible.
In her leisure time, you can find Dr. Marlissa exercising, flowing through yoga postures and spending time with her son Bo and husband as well as her beloved pets Amber and Miley.

I enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Fondechene. She was very attentive, explained what she was doing simply so I could understand), gave me suggestions to do at home and overall great bed side manners.
They don’t take my insurance which they informed me well before my appointment but I still went and I’m glad I did.

I love being seen by Dr. Marlissa. It’s like catching up with an old friend. I came in for pelvic pain I have been experiencing for about a month now. It’s been one week since my visit and the pain is literally gone. My quality of life has greatly improved. Her exercises and suggestions have helped as well.

Was a great experience was nervous about my first chiropractor visit but after talking to the doctor and them explaining everything clearly and professionally I was at ease. The doctor listened to my concerns and took them into consideration during my assessment. Every procedure was explained to me before done and the doctor checked up on me to make sure I was alright. After my first visit I’m already feeling better and excited to continue getting better with the help of this office. ??

First time I ever had a chiropractor do soft tissue work before adjusting! Previous places I’ve been to have gone quick to adjustments and usually the same moves each time. THE PRACTITIONERS I HAVE SEEN ALL TOOK THEIR TIME TO EXPLAIN MY ISSUES...AND ALSO TOOK THEIR TIME TO TREAT ME PROPERLY. I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT IN THEIR EXPERTISE AND COMPLETELY HOPEFUL THAT FURTHER HEALING WILL TAKE PLACE. My pain is concentrated most in my lower back and shoulders and she knows the areas to focus on because she listens and pays close attention. I had read great reviews about Dr. Marlissa on ZocDoc but she exceeded my HIGH expectations. I can't say enough wonderful things about her care. I took my 17 year-old daughter to be seen for back discomfort. Dr. Marlissa was super thorough; extremely knowledgeable; listened carefully; communicated everything she was doing/observing in real time - and had so many awesome tools. I, myself, had last been to a chiropractor 20 years ago, and my visits consisted solely of a back adjustment. Dr. Marlissa used an array of methodology to address my daughter's issues. The whole office was super friendly and very welcoming. It was really a fantastic experience- and Dr. Marlissa followed up with us the very next day. My daughter can't wait to go back! I will be referring all of my peeps to this practice.

I was experiencing back pain and was happy to find a chiropractor who looked like me. I was seen right away, check in was simple and quick, and Dr. Marlissa's bedside manner was top notch. She listened intently to my concerns and identified the issue while explaining everything to me throughout my appointment. She adjusted me and also showed me exercises I could do at home and encouraged me to reach out to her iff needed. I'd highly recommend her. Also, the office was very clean and inviting which is important to me especially right now.

My experience considering it was my first time was great. It was a welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Marlissa established so much care and was so friendly.
