“Dr. Ali was a breath of fresh air. I have been dealing with some complicated health issues and have tried a few different specialists attempting to get answers. I found Dr. Ali on ZocDoc and she was an answered prayer. For the first time, my health problem/diagnoses were explained to me in a way it was easy to understand. She didn’t want to just put me on medication to fix the symptoms, she wanted to figure out the “why” and she was able to with some testing. She also took into consideration all the potential future problems I could have with certain medication’s if we didn’t understand the root cause. She took her time, answered all of my questions didn’t seem as if she was in a rush to get on to the next patient.
It was amazing and she actually seemed to care about me as a person which is rare.
The staff were all friendly as well! Such a great experience and so thankful I am her patient! ”

About Dr. Marriam Ali
Dr. Ali is a board-certified endocrinologist with a special interest in diabetes, diabetes technology and bone health. She also enjoys helping patients manage thyroid disorders and PCOS.
Dr. Ali was born and raised in Dallas and earned her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by endocrinology fellowship training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. After several years in the Windy City, Dr. Ali and her family were excited to return to the Dallas area.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ali enjoys traveling and cooking healthy meals with her husband and daughter. She values a collaborative approach to care and is excited to work closely with her primary care colleagues as a trusted resource for endocrine-related conditions.

I cannot express how great MD Ali is. She's kind and a great listener. I know MD appointments are not great experiences, but she made me feel heard and seen, and at no point did I feel she was rushing to leave the room.

I’ve been to a couple of doctors, but never went back because their bedside matter was horrible. They didn’t listen to me and simply just wanted to either give me a pill or the opposite and just send me on my way. Not really listening, but Doctor Ali was amazing. She listened to everything I had to say, didn’t jump to conclusions and really wanted to find out what the root cause was for my symptoms. I would say she’s very much conservative, which I appreciate.

She’s amazing! She is very knowledgeable and has been the kindest doctor I’ve been to in ages. She didn’t make me feel rushed or dumb for asking questions and wants followups to monitor my condition which I absolutely love. I’ve had doctors rush me out the door or push me toward a certain treatment without providing me all the info, Dr. Ali is wonderful, I’ll be a long-time client for years!

Dr Ali is one of the best endocrinologists I have seen over the years for my thyroid disease, if not the best. She is friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about my medical conditions. She made me feel heard and understood my concerns. her passion for endpoint tonality and helping her patients strongly comes through. I literally breathed a sigh of relief during my consultation with her. I’m so glad I finally found a great endocrinologist which I struggled to find when moving to the area a couple of years ago. Highly recommend Dr Ali!
