Bloom Health Centers is excited to welcome ?Marshaè Cappaninee? to the Easton location. ?Marshaè ?earned her Bachelor of Science in Infant and Maternal Health Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park (May 2021), where she received multiple Dean’s List honors, was recognized as a Global Public Health Scholar, and was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She later completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, graduating Magna Cum Laude (December 2024), and served as Secretary of the Physician Assistant Society from August 2022 to December 2024. Most recently, she earned her Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) degree from Butler University (August 2025). She is a licensed Physician Assistant, an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has a strong interest in maternal and perinatal care. ??Marsha specializes in maternal and perinatal mental health, with a focus on perinatal/postpartum depression and anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and adjustment disorders. She provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care, using a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach and collaborating with other providers to support coordinated care. ??Outside of clinical work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and learning about different cultures. She also enjoys writing poetry, which helps her reflect, stay grounded, and maintain a thoughtful, empathetic perspective. These experiences have strengthened her cultural awareness and deepened her appreciation for each patient’s unique background and life experiences. She values connection, open communication, and creating a supportive, judgment-free space where patients feel heard and respected.?
