Hello, I'm Martha. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English Literature and Psychology, and later earned my M.S. and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Over the years, I've been licensed in Florida, West Virginia, and North Carolina, but I currently hold an active license in the State of Colorado (PSY.0003901). My journey in psychology has been diverse and fulfilling. I've had the privilege of working in an adolescent inpatient unit, serving as the Head Psychologist at a Charter Psychiatric Hospital, and eventually opening my own private practice in Miami, Florida, West Virginia, and now in Colorado. While I was once a prolific psychological testing expert, I now focus on telehealth services, which allows me to reach and support more clients. I specialize in working with adolescents, children, and families, and have a deep understanding of bereavement, grief, and PTSD, particularly stemming from childhood trauma. My approach is compassionate and tailored to each individual's needs, helping clients navigate the complexities of their experiences and find a path toward healing. I am passionate about helping people deal with various issues, including childhood trauma, and I am skilled in providing support for those facing such challenges.
