What should a new client know about working with you?

With more than 20 years of healthcare experience and dual certification in family and psychiatric mental health, I take a whole-person approach to care. Mental and physical health are closely connected, so I consider both when evaluating symptoms and recommending treatment. I use evidence-based practices to help individuals managing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, stress, and other mental health concerns. Whether you're seeking support for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, you can expect compassionate care, open communication, and a commitment to helping you feel heard, understood, and supported every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first visit focuses on getting to know you. We'll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and goals for treatment so I can develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs. Based on this evaluation, we'll create a personalized treatment plan together. This may include medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with your therapist or other healthcare providers when appropriate. Follow-up visits are designed to monitor your progress, answer questions, make any needed adjustments to your treatment plan, and ensure you're moving toward your goals. I believe treatment works best as a collaborative process, and I encourage open communication so we can make informed decisions together as your needs evolve.
