What should a new client know about working with you?

I am not prescribing control medications such as Benzos and stimulants New Horizon Psychiatry does not provide any controlled substance including stimulants. We will be happy to talk through alternative options for ADHD that are non-stimulants during your visit as well as anxiety.

The visit was great! She was very attentive to my needs and helped me manage my symptoms.
I thought the experience was more about intake assessment than how I felt or what my needs were and I tried to tell that to her, but she insisted that she had to have all the information about my drugs and family history, etc. She did end up prescribing an antidepressant for me, and I will probably have to go back in order to keep that drug available to me, hoping that it will work to help me more than she did.
