“The office and nurse were Great. Literally the best nurse I’ve dealt with …. The doctor was short , rude and borderline mean. Had it not been for the nurse talking with me after he left office, i wouldn’t have even known what he injected into me (medical not cosmetic visit) . My time with the doctor was honestly less than 5 mins . I left feeling like “what just happen”
Again , I’d actually return as i feel he knows what he’s doing … but i certainly didn’t . Everything was perfect aside from his bedside manner. Honestly rate him 1star in that category.”

Dr. Martin N. Zaiac is a detail-oriented dermatologist. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his internship in internal medicine. Dr. Zaiac then completed his residency in dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He currently practices at DermCare Management in Miami Beach and Hallandale Beach, FL.

Pathetic experience! There’s like 10 people with me during examination, no professionalism, i’m not comfortable talking about my issues infront of 10 people in the room. The doctor was seemingly more of a sales person trying to sell me treatments instead of focusing on facts and my root cause. He was suggesting treatments without any current and past information about me. I had to wait like am hour in a room to wait for my appointment, they had bunch of people during my consultation which i was never comfortable with. Totally bad experience, nothing positive about my visit.

The doctor was quick and straightforward. The nurse is what made it a great appointment- she listened to me and prepped the doctor really well so he could be in and out. Wait time was a bit long but it was end of day so I wasn’t in a rush and understood that delays can compound as the day goes on

This was the most painless, easy, and friendly first appointment I could have asked for. The appointment ran on time and went very smoothly. Dr Zaiac and his associates were very thorough with my annual exam and took plenty of time to answer my questions completely. This was as delightful an appointment as could have been imagined. Very impressed and will be back in one year for my annual exam!

Dr. Zaiac walked in with several doctors in training following him. He shook my hand and said, "You're far too old to have acne. Are you taking testosterone?"
He also took a personal call on his cell phone during the consultation.
I specifically sought treatment so that I can eradicate my acne and filled out a form showing that I am currently not taking any medication (testosterone included). Attempting to blame me for my condition and taking a personal call during the consultation both seem unprofessional to me.

Vey busy office but the doctor saw me very quickly and was very thorough and professional. His medical assistant Katie met with me beforehand to ask pertinent questions about my issue, very friendly, smart and efficient . Would definitely go back to this doctor.

This was a terrible experience overall. I waited over an hour for my appointment to see Dr. Zaiac. When I finally did see him, he had one of his medical interns take a skin biopsy. It was a painful experience, as there wasn't enough numbing agent applied beforehand. Worse, the intern failed to seal it properly, so I started to bleed all over myself on the drive home. When I finally got the results, I was left just as confused as before the appointment. The nurse called and provided no clarity around what the skin rash was or why it started. She said she'd email me my results but never followed through. I called several times to get an emailed copy of my results, but they've never returned my calls.

The office cancels every appt I make. So this time I tried to call and make the appt and I just keep getting voicemail despite being normal business hours. I recommended last time when they called to cancel that maybe they should accurately tell zoc doc the schedule availability. The scheduler was super rude and even kept interrupting me. Poor customer service from this standpoint.
The ratings are from previous visits as the appt was cancelled.

I waited for over 2 hours to be seen in the front where you check in. Then I was then placed in a waiting room, after 30 minutes the doctor came in and basically said because you are mixed (mom-Black & dad PuertoRican) your skin in fine.... the discoloration is normal, and just because I am "black" I should still wear sunblock. The either really dry or really oily skin days are because of my parents.
He even "suggested" me *in so many nice words* that if I wanted to have children with an even skin tone I should stay "within the Race". Then while he is telling me this, three other women come in and listen to the conversation. One of them have an iPad, I notice her trying to take pictures of me. When I looked at her funny during my semi-racist conversation with the doctor. She then interrupts and introduces herself. And tells me that the picture is for my file and no one will see it except staff. I would have taking the picture just fine had she asked before hand. My advice, Do not go here unless you like people trying to treat you like you are stupid.

He is an amazing doctor. He explains everything thoroughly and thinks aloud. He is by far the best doctor/ dermatologist I have ever been to. I feel truly cared for. His staff is professional and kind, just like him. The facility is clean and easy to find. I highly recommend Dr. Zaiac!

The receptionist and doctor were kind of rude. They use their own electronic system so I was not able to use my information I have already on ZocDoc. The questioner was really much relevant. The doctor call 4 patients at a time put them in 4 different rooms and spend less than 5 min with each. Me been the first time he didn't ask me relevant questions and he limit himself for the most obvious showing not much interest.

I waited 90 minutes to see Dr. Zaiac with no indication of how long the wait would be. When I went up to the window to ask how long the wait would be after 20 minutes, the woman said, "do you have an appointment?" She didn't recognize me just 20 minutes later. They made me change rooms mid-consultation wearing a paper gown. They forgot I asked for a skin cancer scan. The doctor acts disinterested and speaks in a monologue and acts like he doesn't care whether you are there or not.
Find a new dermatologist if you care about organized, attentive, efficient service.
