He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Boston University and completed his residency in Psychiatry and Family Therapy at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. With more than 40 years of experience, he uses a wide variety of techniques tailored to the needs of each patient. An eclectic, holistic practitioner, Dr. Olanoff is familiar with alternative medicine and treats conditions including ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, pain management, and other mental disorders.

The office environment is warm and friendly and the wait time was short. There is no secretary so I was greeted by the doctor and shown to the waiting room. Dr. Olanoff is friendly and has a warm and approachable manner. I felt comfortable sharing with him and I appreciated some of his common-sense insights, and it was helpful to hear the perspective of someone who does both ongoing psychotherapy and medicine/prescription consultations. I liked that he is experienced however I wasn't sure if our values/lifestyles differ too much for me to not ever feel judged. I also found him costly and in the end I found a therapist who is not an MD/Doctor and that is sufficient for me.

Highly recommended! Within minutes of sitting with DR Olanoff, he was able to pinpoint my issues. DR Olanoff mapped out both a short term and long term treatment plan. As far as the office/facilities are concerned, DR olanoff offers the warmest, coziest, and most luxurious office that will make you feel relaxed, tranquil, and hopeful. DR Olanoff and his office will provide you the discreet therapeutic environment needed to assist you in being an even higher achiever.
