My work experiences include primary care (long-term care), substance abuse, management of psychotic, mood, anxiety, obsessive compulsive behaviors, cognitive impairment disorders and trauma focus care; creation and development of outpatient mental health programs; and employed a number of years working with the soldiers, veterans, and their families/significant others. I firmly believe healthcare and management of health conditions and practice(s) can be augmented with lifestyle and environmental practices. While we inherit DNA from our parents we can modify the function of those genes through lifestyle practices. That said, I adhere to daily routine exercise, functional nutrition, community and environmental stewardship, reading and above all a commitment to learning.
