My name is Mary "Beth" Hutchinson. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, treating patients ages 4 and up. I am also certified as a family nurse practitioner, which provides a broad base to individualize age-appropriate treatment. We can meet and have our sessions through video on our telemedicine platform, so you can be in the comfort of your home while we meet. We will evaluate your specific concerns, work with you to develop a practical plan, and I’ll support you through the process of improving your life. I graduated from Kansas University in 1996 with a Master of Science degree and pursued extensive postgraduate studies there. My patients often tell me that although they appreciate my solid background, they mostly appreciate having found an empathic, non-judgmental ear that truly knows how to “listen.” I am confident that together we can work through any issue. For the past seven years, I have done telepsychiatry with a large children and adolescent population. One of my strengths is that I “listen” to my patients and am able to connect to provide quality, age-appropriate care. I provide medication management and brief psychotherapy services, often utilizing pet therapy to connect with even the youngest of patients.
