As a primary care physician, I enjoy getting to know patients (and sometimes families!) and working toward health in a personalized and evidence-based way. I strive to be down-to-earth and informative, meeting each person where they are on their health journey be that optimizing cholesterol levels or welcoming them to their first physical in 10 years. I believe that health cannot merely be defined by lack of disease, but rather physical and mental well-being in the context of each person's unique biopsychosocial circumstances. My clinical interests include women's health, general preventive care, mental health, and chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes, obesity, chronic pain) with a focus on lifestyle and nutrition. I also have experience in HIV management and prevention. I received my education from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and am board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I speak Spanish, go by Brigid, and use she/her/hers pronouns.
