Getting to know Mary Brooks

I started my nursing career in 2010 and have had the privilege to work in many facets of healthcare; however, I truly found my love for mental health in 2020 when I completed substance use training from Rush University in Chicago. I was doing family practice at the time and starting a medication assisted treatment program at that time. In 2022 I began working solely in mental health and substance abuse medicine which helped me make the choice to become a dual certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
