For "Annual Physical" appointments, patients 46 and older will need to complete an establish-care visit with our practice beforehand. Patients 45 and younger may schedule their "Annual Physical" directly. Born in Honolulu while my Dad was stationed at Pearl Harbor- grew up in San Fernando Valley and met my husband, Lanyard, at Chatsworth High School! We attended UC Irvine (1977) then Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis (1981) then did residency training in Family Practice at VCMC (1984) and finally settled into practice in Ojai, while Lanyard did fellowship training in Geriatrics and Hospice. In those early days I did ER shifts, assisted in surgery, delivered babies, followed all our patients thru hospital and ICU care! Our daughter Hannah was born in 1991 and continues to be part of our practice (now as bookkeeper)! When I don’t have my stethoscope around my neck I can be found walking our black lab, playing golf, listening to books on tape, meditating or traveling the world with Lanyard and friends! Dr. Jim Halverson and I hope to be part of our medical community for several more years! Wishing all my past and future patients peace, courage, and Gods richest blessings!
