“The doctor was great, very friendly and easy to talk to. Offices were clean and the checkin process was seamless with staff there to help. Only note is the nurses werent super friendly but understand they have a lot going on and the doctor portion is what i focus more on for these appointments”

About Dr. Mary Hanna
Dr. Hanna, a Brooklyn native, earned a BA/MA in biotechnology from CUNY Hunter College. After college, Dr. Hanna worked in academia for 6 years, helping to develop therapies in Alzheimer's disease at Weill Cornell Medical College and in immunodeficiencies at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She then decided to transition from the bench to the bedside, and embarked on her career in medicine by attending Saba University School of Medicine. She was immediately drawn to the field of internal medicine, and feeling a kinship to the people of Brooklyn, attended residency at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the same hospital she volunteered at as a teenager. Dr. Hanna will continue to serve the people of Brooklyn as a primary care physician at NYP Brooklyn Methodist, with focus on preventive care.

Very kind and thoughtful and observant. She really took the time to discuss my symptoms and talk through treatment options. The experience of getting into the appointment (AKA through security and check-in) is a little unpleasant but once you get to the dr it's worth it!

It was my first time meeting Dr. Hanna; she is an awesome doctor. I literally got called into her office in less than a minute. Dr. Hanna was very thorough, she looked into my history, scheduled me for further tests, and had her staff follow up with me the next day concerning the results of my tests. I felt nurtured! The staff in this office were magnificent, I did not expect this type of attention. Bravo!

My appointment with Dr. Mary Hanna was the best experience I’ve had with a routine physical exam yet. The building was clean and run efficiently and I was seen immediately. All of the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful, and Dr. Hanna was just as kind, patient, down to earth and helpful. I’d highly recommend her!
