About Mary Lavanway

I'm a Registered Dietitian who has worked in Clinical, Community, Outpatient and Retail settings. I have specialty training working with Eating Disorder patients and am certified through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I really enjoy working with patients and their families (when appropriate) to provide education, build skills and support them in their journey to wellness. I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I bring this lens to all patients I work with. Whether we're working on managing Heart Health, Diabetes, Eating Disorders, Celiac disease or repairing the relationship with food and our bodies, being able to notice our Intuitive cues can be so helpful. I focus on translating Nutrition Education to food and the table; this is the practical application as well as where enjoyment and behavior change happens.
