She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practice from South College, with a Post-Masters Certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. Dr. Obiyo’s extensive experience spans Primary Care, Mental Health, Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, and Family Medicine. Her holistic, evidence-based approach ensures each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of every patient. I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care. As the Lead Provider and CEO of Essential Health Group LLC, I provide personalized mental health care designed to address each patient’s unique needs, concerns, and goals. My approach is patient-centered, collaborative, and holistic. I believe mental health is closely connected to overall physical health, and I take the time to understand the whole person—not just the symptoms. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults experiencing ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and bipolar disorder. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns without judgment. Together, we develop individualized treatment plans that support emotional wellness, improved functioning, and a better quality of life. Your first session with Dr. Mary Obiyo focuses on understanding your needs and creating a personalized care plan. She uses evidence-based tools to guide treatment, which may include medication, therapy, or lifestyle support. With a warm and collaborative approach, Dr. Obiyo works with you to promote emotional balance, well-being, and lasting progress.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits

The person/doctor but had no lab coat said she forgot it; the visit didn’t feel sterile or professional. I had to call for results said they were normal one not back I asked if she could email she said she would and never received them. I would not recommend nor return.
