Mary-Rita Blute, PMHNP

Mary-Rita Blute, PMHNP

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
MD
I am an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from Sage College. When you and your therapist feel that your therapy might benefit from a course of mental health medication, I can assist with medication management. I use prescription drugs, over-the-counter supplements, and specialized lab tests to help choose the best medication for each patient. I see patients in person in my office for the first visit; after that, follow-up visits can be either in person or via telehealth. In-person visits are on Wednesdays, while telehealth visits are available on other days of the week. Potential patients must submit proof of being fully vaccinated (COVID, flu) before their first visit. Please note that I cannot assist with opioid or benzodiazepine prescriptions, substance use disorders, care of persons with intellectual or developmental disorders, or medication management during pregnancy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
