I felt so validated. I have a long struggling history of mental health issues and this was my first ever experience speaking to a psychiatrist about these issues. It helped that the process was overall pretty smooth and easy.

She can be a bit late and does not appear to be very well experienced in the field of psychiatry. If just you're trying to get refills on your medications and nothing else, then she isn't that bad. However, she seems to have difficulty understanding the patient's point of view and the inherent complexity of different mental health issues.
I enjoyed having a doctor who finally listened to me and actually cared about my complex condition. She was very receptive and thorough.
Verified patient
Maryam was very caring and a great listener. She asked many questions and gave me more than ample time to respond....even through my pauses she was a patient listener which allowed me to share all I needed to. She took a comprehensive approach in order to find out what was happening internally and in my life....also, she went over my physical condition and made a couple of suggestions of tests I should ask my primary care doctor for. Very impressed.....I look forward to a long term relationship with Maryam and BrainPower.
