Easily the worst office visit I have ever had. The doctor was very nonchalant and to the point but not at any point during my visit did I feel welcome. To make matters worst the front office receptionist was HORRIBLE & highly unprofessional. I informed her I would call in to make the estimated balance to be told that I needed to talk to the office manager first! LoL luckily there's a pay by internet option so I didn't have to talk with any of these individuals again. Needless to say I won't be back.

Dr. Prewitt was EXCEPTIONAL! I absolutely despise going to the doctor...I've spent far too many hours in their offices and at the hospital with my mom who had breast cancer...they rattle me. From thr moment I stepped into her office though, I felt comfortable and at ease. Dr. Prewitt herself is absolutely wonderful- kind, to-the-point, and very knowledgable without being overly detailed with medical-jargon. Loved my experience with Dr. Maryann Prewitt!

She was nice, fast and efficient. I thought we would talk a bit more but it seemed like our talk would just wait until I had my test results back. I was dissapointed in the wait, it was right after lunch, they had all my paperwork and I still had to wait 30 minutes. So an annual pap toom me 90 minutes and that was not good for me.

I am not thrilled with my visit at all. First the office called to reschedule my visit despite ZocDoc's policy. After my appointment, The office was unwilling to work with my insurance provider regarding ordering an IUD despite the fact that I found them to be in-network through ZocDoc. Additionally, the office would not refer me to another professional who would be able to help. Last, I was charged for an office visit despite going for a consultation ultimately ending in to receiving an Rx that I am unable to fill. I certainly feel cheated.

OMG!!!! I fell in love with this Dr the moment I stepped in. Online booking was so easy & hassle free and her hours fit anyone's schedule. The staff are super friendly & helpful. Dr. Maryann is WONDERFUL she takes time to listen to your concerns & offers the best advice!! She makes you feel comfortable to talk about your personal concerns, takes her time with you & addresses your needs... Although she took her time & didn't rush---I didn't wait long @ all (in & out)... I have been to multiple Dr's but none quite like her, I am a patient for life... Dr. Prewitt was super sweet today! She was quick with the things I wasn't looking forward to, but made sure she explained everything thoroughly. Unfortunately, I am needing another visit due to being sick, and she wanted me back in two days. She was completely booked but said she wanted to see me anyway because she wanted to make sure we get started on ultrasounds and more bloodwork. Even though she is very busy, she is taking time from her busy Saturday to still see me. The nurse helping me was super sweet as well, and made me as comfortable as possible. Glad to have found my OB-GYN!

Here's what I know. - If you know your entire day/schedule is backed up - let your patients know beforehand. If you can't do that, let your patients know when they get there. Don't just have them sit there for 40 minutes past their appointment time wondering. I personally had to stand in front of the in-patient door before the receptionist decided to remind the doctor that I was there. It took 40 minutes of silence and then my silence visual reminder before anyone gave me an update. -If your receptionists/employees are talking about a non-business matter and the phone rings, don't pick up the phone ask that customer to hold because you want to finish your gossip. -If a client walks in - greet them. Don't let them just wander around until they realize they have to go through an empty lobby with dirty, used wine glasses on the table, and a tiny framed sign on the counter telling you go through the doors, and then STILL not acknowledge their existence until they have to stare you in the face. Honestly, the counter opens in three places, if you can't see people, get a bell. The doctor shouldn't assume I want to know details about her other patients or their circumstances. The doctor shouldn't assume my race. The doctor shouldn't sit there trying to place blame on the busy traffic backing her schedule up around that area because she CHOSE that area. There are many things that could have been done better that could have alleviated that experience. I don't want to hear your excuses. You could have just apologized for your client's experience rather than trying to tell me how great you and your staff are because you know them well. I just met them - I do not agree. Also, I get it. You don't like Obamacare. The only person that actually tried addressed my concerns was the nice lady who took my blood. Thank you for trying to address my concerns. On the way out...nope no receptionist. Yup, I had to ask for one to see if they needed me to do anything else. Schedule another appointment? No, thank you. Pro: The office is pretty. The blood taker lady is awesome. Con: Everything else.

She was nice and staff was friendly, but I felt like she was trying to sell me on a lot of stuff. I came in to get a refill on my prescription, and she mentioned all these special procedures she does for things I wasn't even concerned about. I don't really want a doctor whose goal is to upsell me, I just want someone to address my current needs. She wasn't judgmental, which I believe is very important to allowing the patient to trust their doctor. However, I can't trust her because I feel like I'm talking with a saleswoman.

The annual exam was very easy and painless, although I felt like I was balked at for asking for a refill on my current birth control pill. Maryann asked if I had considered getting an IUD and told her no, but I'd like more information. She said to do my own research and make an appointment if I wanted one. Isn't the doctor supposed to provide that information to the patient to ensure I'm getting accurate information? Guess not. I also got blood work done, which I've never gotten before. About 3 weeks went by and hadn't received results, so I call them. First time the receptionist said she couldn't access the results but the doctor would call shortly with them. 2 days went by and nothing. I get a call with my pap results and I ask again about the blood work. Lady calling puts me on hold and for a few minutes and says everything is fine. They apparently do not give any more information than that. I still don't even know what tests they ran... All in all, actual exam was fine, but I don't know if I'd go back for anything other than that.
