As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Lawal has been privileged to work with clients from all walks of life. She is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner Certification Board and is licensed to provide care to individuals from newborns to older adults. Ms. Lawal earned her Master's in Family Nursing from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Compassionate and empathetic, she delivers excellent care to her clients. A great communicator, she loves to see her clients living their best health and takes pride in working together with them to accomplish that. She has been in the healthcare field for the past 17 years and has worked in multiple institutions, including a Level 1 trauma center.

It was the first time I’ve been told that a family practitioner can’t prescribe my Zoloft! That it was a psychiatric issue! My insurance went out with my other doctor, so I have to find another primary and I have been getting my medicine from my primary for 10 years so I didn’t understand!

The doctor was overall easy to work with, friendly compassionate and listen to what I had to say she understood my situation and helped, that's more than I can say for most of the doctors I saw in the last 2 weeks. I also did not have to wait a weekFor my medication it was given the same night to cover me for tomorrow which is Thanksgiving and that was because I was given a defective medication last time by my primary psychiatrist which is no longer my primary psychiatrist due to his bedside manner which is poor. His communication was terrible and his attitude was like none other. The only thing that manCared about was money and representing the pharmaceutical companies. This doctors concern was helping other people while upholding medical standards.
