Mathews Ninan, MD, obtained his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, in 2002. He then relocated to Dallas, Texas, completing his Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2005. With two decades of primary care medicine experience, Dr. Ninan joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified Family Medicine physician who is bilingual in English and Malayalam. As a Family Medicine physician, Dr. Ninan provides comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients of all ages. In addition to providing well care, he treats a broad array of medical conditions, including acute illness and chronic conditions from depression to diabetes. Aside from meeting and talking with patients, what Dr. Ninan loves most about practicing medicine is continually learning about the human body and the ways we can change it through lifestyle and medicine.
