About Dr. Matthew Cascio

Dr. Matthew Cascio is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, utilizing the latest advancements in pain medicine to restore function and improve quality of life. He completed his Pain Medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic, where he gained extensive experience in the field’s most cutting-edge procedures, training with the field’s leading experts. Before fellowship, he completed his internship with Northwell Health and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. ? Dr. Cascio has authored numerous publications, written chapters for leading pain management textbooks, and presented at national conferences on topics ranging from neuromodulation to pain medication safety. His clinical interests include chronic spine pain, nerve pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and the use of innovative therapies such spinal cord stimulation, minimally invasive spine procedures, and regenerative medicine to treat pain and restore function. ? Outside of medicine, Dr. Cascio enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, and staying active with weightlifting and sports. He is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and independence, empowering them to lead healthier lives.

I can’t speak enough about the efficiency I receive in the Patchogue office by Dr. Cassio. From the 1st time I came in he listened to all my concerns & made sure I understood all my options clearly. He was compassionate, caring, & made sure I was included in my plan of care. When completing procedures he’d walk me through it as well as being completely gentle. I really can’t say enough.
