Dr. Matthew Isakson is a Board-Certified plastic surgeon with a deep commitment to patient care and surgical excellence. He began his medical journey at the prestigious University College Cork in Ireland, followed by a highly competitive 6-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma—where he was fortunate to meet his beautiful wife. Dr. Isakson further specialized with an aesthetic surgery fellowship at H/K/B in Charlotte, NC, one of the oldest fellowships recognized by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
With a passion for advancing the field, Dr. Isakson has authored several peer-reviewed book chapters and papers on aesthetic plastic surgery. His fine surgical attention to detail, inquisitive nature, and approachable demeanor make him a trusted partner in your aesthetic journey.
Dr. Isakson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Molecular biology. An inquisitive and competitive mind led him from the laboratory to the field of medicine. Dr. Isakson started his medical education in Ireland where he received initial training at one of the oldest and most celebrated medical schools in the world: University College Cork (UCC).
After completing medical school with honors, Dr. Isakson moved back to the states to complete a 6-year plastic surgery residency at The University of Oklahoma (where he was incredibly lucky to meet his beautiful wife). He was then selected to further advance his surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic techniques at one of the most prestigious and longest running Aesthetic Surgery fellowships: the H/K/B Plastic Surgery Center in Charlotte, NC.
