After completing my internal medicine residency in Ohio in 2010, I was excited to come back home to Utah. I grew up in small towns in southern and central Utah and spent a lot of my early years visiting Utah Valley. It has been a privilege to work here in this community. I have worked both in the inpatient setting as a hospitalist and in clinical outpatient practice in internal medicine. I enjoy the challenge of working through problems and getting to know my patients, who have in turn taught me a lot about living a healthy life. Specifically, I have become interested in how we can have a major impact on our own health by making good food choices and through an active lifestyle. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and 6 children. We enjoy traveling to California and Florida, sailing, biking, hiking all over Utah, skiing, gardening, and sporting events.
