About Dr. Matthew Salisbury

Matthew T. Salisbury, MD, is a primary care provider at Lifespan Physician Group and a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland and completed his residency at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Dr. Salisbury received the Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award in 2011 and 2012, as well as the Physician of the Year Award from the Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation in 2011. He is a diplomate of the American Academy of Family Practice.

I have been coming to this practice for years and recommend it to anyone who needs a provider. Dr. Salisbury is kind, pleasant and professional and always answers any questions I have. I especially like to use the patient portal between visits, as whenever I send a question, I get a response very quickly. The staff is always pleasant and easy to work with, too!

This was my first visit to this facility since I moved from New York. The office hadn't received my medical history as of my visit. The staff indicated they would reach out to my previous doctors office to obtain my history. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly and knowledgeable. The Doctor is awesome.
