About Dr. Matthew Vasievich
Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Matthew Vasievich joins the Pinnacle Dermatology team with several years of skin care experience. Dr. Vasievich completed his Residency in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan Medical School, graduating with distinction in research. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University, where he graduated cum laude. Dr. Vasievich has written and presented on various medical conditions for professional dermatologic publications.
He has also volunteered in community skin cancer screenings, community health events, and as a resident physician volunteer.

Very nice. Maybe my case was as simple as it is, but he only looked at my skin for a few minutes. Gave me a prescription for a cream that got denied by my insurance, but they called to send another one similar to it. Office was nice and staff was friendly. I just felt a little brushed over, he was only in the room for around 10 mins.

Very quick skin check compared to my previous experiences, hopefully that just means the Dr is that much better at finding what he is looking for and not that he was rushing. He also did not seem very interested in discussing my concerns and reviewing the my previous results. Overall was disappointed with my experience compared to the other reviews on here and won't be returning.

New Doctor for me. I changed Doctors because my previous one is nearly impossible to get in with because the office leaned into aesthetics and he became so popular (& expensive). Office is quite nice. Staff were great. New Dr. listens well, took time with my concerns. Annual skin check was thorough enough, which is important to me because when I was found to have a spot of BCC in the past (with a different doctor), I came in for vanity concerns (acne) and it was a complete shock. He has great bedside manner. Happy I found this Doctor.
