She offers evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for general psychiatry and prescribes mental health medications when necessary for conditions including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, cyclothymia, and insomnia. Maureen is also highly skilled and knowledgeable in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). With over 20 years of experience owning an independent private practice in Portland, Oregon, she provides both in-person and telemedicine services to patients in Oregon and New York. Maureen is board-certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in both Oregon and New York State. What should a new client know about working with you?

Initial Evaluations for Mental Health Medication Management occur in-person in-office session. Client follow-up is typically 2-4 weeks after initial assessment. When a consistent and effective medication regimen is established, typically follow-ups are conducted every 2-3 months. We do work collaboratively with client's individual therapist and primary care provider.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Client focus is on Mental Health medication management, although brief, solution-focused therapy approaches are utilized. Initial assessments are thorough 45-60 minutes per session, and follow-up visits are 30 mins. in duration whether in-person or if the client chooses telemedicine for future sessions
