Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
UT
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience across psychiatry, oncology, palliative care, medical intensive care, hospice, and home health. Over the years, I’ve worked with both adolescents and adults, and I enjoy supporting patients at all stages of life. My approach to care is patient-centered, focusing on the whole person and honoring the mind-body connection in mental health and overall wellness. I received my master’s degrees in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and Business & Healthcare Administration from Maryville University. I also proudly served in the United States Navy, which sparked my deep appreciation for the veteran community. My goal is to help patients identify and address underlying imbalances, using a combination of traditional and holistic treatments to achieve the best outcomes. I love building strong connections with my patients and find this work incredibly rewarding. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe mental health care should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I take the time to understand your history, challenges, and goals, and we work together to develop a plan that integrates both traditional and holistic strategies when appropriate. I focus on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—so that symptoms are seen in the context of your overall health and life circumstances. My approach is supportive and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, empowered, and confident in your path to wellness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
