The first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. This assessment helps me develop an accurate diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring your progress, reviewing symptoms, evaluating medication effectiveness and side effects when applicable, and making adjustments to your treatment plan as needed. I also incorporate supportive therapy and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to help patients develop practical coping skills and achieve their mental health goals. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered.
