Dr. Mira is a medical doctor and was a practicing physician in her native country, Saudi Arabia. She received her medical degree from King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She worked at KAU Hospital as a family physician for a few years before relocating to the United States. In the United States, Dr. Mira is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), and she joined Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, for one year. She then found her calling in the ancient practices of traditional Chinese medicine that help the body's own healing systems.? While Dr. Mira currently devotes her practice to traditional Chinese medicine, she is still very interested in combining her deep knowledge of Western medicine with her training in acupuncture and other proven holistic eastern modalities to help her patients better find and keep the physical and energetic balance they need to heal.
