“If everyone with severe knee pain could find a place like Direct Ortho in McKinney, how much better their life would be. Receptionist Kari gets record/insurance info going fast. You are see as soon as possible. Expert X-rays taken expeditiously and thoroughly by ?Fiosa? capturing all angles to help the practitioner get a good clear image of all facets of the knee. I've seen two ortho surgeon and today a Physician's Assistant with the last name Buhlan. He was by the far the best. FRom bedside manner, compassion, listening, to providing best treatment to help remedy the pain. He is the only one who ever offered to drain fluid from my knees. One knee he drained over 10 ml of yellowish fluid. Then he administered the two cortisone shots. I can now go on my vacation without pain, walking much better thanks to P.A. Buhlan and the good staff at McKinney Direct Ortho. They are the best. I highly recommend them!”

I’ll never go back to this place - I got an appointment at 4pm and was there by 3:40pm. I have wait till 4:40pm to be sent inside to see a physician/nurse
The people who came at 4:15pm were also sent inside saying that they had booked their appointment prior to me. I was told that the doctor was busy and so I have to wait more as if I were at a walk-in clinic. The front end staff is completely ridiculous
When I get inside to see doctor, I was asked goto get an X-ray. Even without doctor examining me, they want me to get an X-Ray (for a simple sprain) . when I said the same, the staff make faces. I wait for doctor and she says she doubts if it can be arthritis (for a 40yr old) and sends me to X-ray
X-ray comes out fine, so now they want me to get an ultrasound. It felt like they are just trying to make money!

My experience at the clinic was okay. The wait time was excessive, they seemed a little disorganized even after we were called in to a room, but the doctor who treated us was great, very thorough, knowledgeable, & kind, which is the only reason we will be going back. Time was wasted searching for basic supplies etc during the appt. All staff was very nice. My biggest concern afterwards was that it took three days of back and forth calls from the pharmacy for this office to get the prescription correct, delaying treatment for my son. They sent it in missing necessary info more than once and the pharmacy would have to delay it, repeatedly.
