Getting to know Meagan Pruden

I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who works with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, and depression, especially when it feels like your mind just won’t slow down. Please note: I do not prescribe controlled substances, including stimulant medications such as Adderall or Vyvanse, or benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Ativan, or Klonopin. Many of my clients are high-functioning and capable on the outside, managing work, school, caregiving, or relationships, while internally feeling overwhelmed, burned out, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in cycles of overthinking and constant tension. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment or rushing into medications that don’t feel right for you. I take time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels both effective and sustainable. For those interested in medication management, I focus on minimizing side effects while helping you feel more like yourself, not numb or disconnected. If you’ve had difficult experiences with medications in the past, we’ll approach treatment carefully and intentionally. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while helping you regain a sense of clarity, balance, and control in your life. I also offer faith-integrated care for individuals who would like to incorporate their spiritual or religious beliefs into treatment.
